This is something else I have been wanting to get back into for some time. I used to do this a lot on my own and then as a monthly event at my last job. I am also really excited to start this up again because I now have information on items to collect for Military Working Dogs that are also deployed (and their handlers).

Many of the items needed are things that you already buy or may have lying around to spare. With a few exceptions (such as books, magazines, DVDs, etc) all items should be new and in their package. These items may not seem like much, but they mean a lot to our soldiers. Spread the word and maybe collect items from your friends and coworkers. smile emoticon You may feel free to bring them by my office at the Humane Society. For now I plan to collect until November 18th. I will then drive the donations to the Kokomo chapter of US War Dogs for them to mail on our behalf to the Middle East.
